I had a great time wandering around the nearby attractions, as I was only about a mile away from the historic downtown and railroad district, plus amazing dining options like Cracker Barrel and Black Barts Steakhouse just a few steps away, making it convenient for evening strolls after a busy day. The space was really nice too with tons of room and comfortable furnishings, perfect for a relaxing weekend. However, I will mention that my room wasn't ready until 5 PM, which was a bit frustrating.

Upon arrival, the room wasn't ready until 5 PM. Late check-in isn't acceptable. Rooms 201 and 202 are adjacent to the stairs, resulting in excessive noise all night. Combine that with the trains nearby, and sleep is unattainable. Cleanliness was a major letdown. While the morning view was beautiful and the gym well-equipped, it doesn't excuse the glaring flaws. The staff lacked warmth, especially toward third-party bookings. A promising location near restaurants could not salvage the experience. Improvements are essential for a proper stay. It's not what you expect for $1,000.

The AC unit had a fan setting that helped drown out noise, but the proximity to the stairs resulted in loud foot traffic and banging doors throughout the night. Two large TVs were a plus. Bathroom supplies were lacking, with no toilet paper or toiletries on arrival. Parking was ample, and the location was convenient for local dining.
